	===Welcome to Doom Delta!===

	Doom Delta is a mod for GZDoom that aims to bring together many elements from the pre-release iterations of Doom, including (but not limited to) the alpha builds, the press release beta, the video 'A Visit to iD Software', and Tom Hall's Doom Bible.

	This manual provides brief information on new features and changes in Doom Delta. If you're curious about what has been added, or you're confused about something you've seen in-game, feel free to flip through this manual!

=Gameplay=

==Your Arsenal==

	Familiarize yourself with the variety of weapons that will be thrown your way in Doom Delta. Some may be familiar, and some may be new to you!

	===Slot 1===

		{{info
		|name=Chainsaw
		|text=You're technically not supposed to have this, but this makeshift weapon is a great suppressant for nosey demons.
		|image=CSAWA0
		}}

	===Slot 2===

		{{info
		|align=left
		|name=$F1HELP_RIFLE_NAME
		|text=$F1HELP_RIFLE_DESC
		|image=PRIFZ0
		}}

	===Slot 3===

		{{info
		|name=Shotgun
		|text=Ol' reliable. Deliver a nasty blast right up close or from far away; the shotgun is great at both!
		|image=SHOTA0
		}}

		{{info
		|align=left
		|name=Super Shotgun
		|text=The UAC's top of the line! These two barrels and a hair trigger deliver three times the power of the shotgun.
		|image=SGN2A0
		}}

	===Slot 4===

		{{info
		|name=Machine Gun
		|text=A rapid-fire weapon used to take down demons faster than the rifle. Be careful, though; it's not quite as accurate.
		|image=MCGNA0
		}}

		{{info
		|align=left
		|name=Chaingun
		|text=Six barrels of gunfire, guaranteed to rip enemies into shreds! It starts out pretty slow, but the longer you fire it, the faster it gets.
		|image=MGUNA0
		}}

	===Slot 5===

		{{info
		|name=Rocket Launcher
		|text=Spews out rockets that can reduce even the toughest enemies to mush. Keep your distance, or you'll be mush too!
		|image=LAUNA0
		}}

		{{info
		|align=left
		|name=Grenade Launcher
		|text=Fires grenades that can bounce off walls and around corners! They don't travel very far, though.
		|image=DDW7Z0
		}}

	===Slot 6===

		{{info
		|name=Plasma Rifle
		|text=This weapon uses energy cells to pump out multi-colored balls of hot plasma, reducing demons to a fine mist in a heartbeat.
		|image=PLASA0
		}}

		{{info
		|align=left
		|name=BFG 2704
		|text=The UAC's top-secret special weapon, with very few models in existence. Sneezes out a flurry of plasma that decimates whatever (and whoever) stands in its way!
		|image=BFUGA0
		}}

	===Slot 7===

		{{info
		|name=Dark Claw
		|text=A severed demon arm that runs autonomously off of soul energy. Harness it to cast out dark clouds of torment and torture that rip through demons like paper!
		|image=DRKCZ0
		}}

		{{info
		|align=left
		|name=The Unmaker
		|text=A cursed mass of flesh and bone that unleashes tortured souls to clear a room of a demonic presence. It doesn't have much effect on possessed soldiers or mechanical demons, however.
		|image=UNMKZ0
		}}

==Armor==

	Armor protects your health from incoming damage, allowing you to live longer! Not much is changed here.

	{{info
	|name=Guard Armor
	|text=Your standard issue lightweight armor. Protects from 33% of incoming damage. Holds up fairly well, but won't last very long against the forces of Hell.
	|image=ARM1A0
	}}

	{{info
	|align=left
	|name=Battle Armor
	|text=A set of heavy duty armor composed of stronger materials that absorbs 50% of all incoming damage. Useful for protection against heavier firepower ... like the kind you're going to face.
	|image=ARM2A0
	|translate=dd_battlearmor
	}}

	{{info
	|name=Demon Armor
	|text=Carved from the strongest of discarded demon bones, this incredibly durable set of armor absorbs around 80% of all incoming damage. Thanks, Satan!
	|image=ARM3A0
	}}

==Shields==

	Shields are inventory items that protect against specific types of damage. Unlike other devices, you can toggle these at will, conserving energy. Each time the shield successfully blocks an attack, energy is consumed. Shield energy can be replenished by picking up another shield of the same type.

	{{info
	|name=Heat Shield
	|text=This shield protects you from fire-based attacks and missiles. This includes Imp fireballs, Arch-vile flames, Revenant missiles, and Cyberdemon rockets.
	|image=SHD1A0
	|translate=dd_shieldred
	}}

	{{info
	|align=left
	|name=Energy Shield
	|text=This shield protects you from energy-based attacks, like Cacodemon projectiles, Arachnotron projectiles, and other energy-based attacks.
	|image=SHD0A0
	|translate=dd_shieldblue
	}}

	{{info
	|name=Bullet Shield
	|text=This shield protects you from all sorts of bullet-based baddies, such as the Former Human, the Former Sergeant, and... where am I being shot from?
	|image=SHD2A0
	|translate=dd_shieldgreen
	}}

	{{info
	|align=left
	|name=Melee Shield
	|text=This shield protects you from melee attacks. Specific examples include Pinky bites and Lost Soul charge attacks, as well as any other demon's melee attack.
	|image=SHD3A0
	|translate=dd_shieldyellow
	}}

==Artifacts==

	In the chaos of the invasion, the demons have left many bizarre artifacts lying around. Steal these unholy antiques and make use of their powers for your benefit!

	{{info
	|name=Souls
	|align=left
	|text=Tormented souls are the power source for hellish weaponry such as the Dark Claw and the Unmaker. Once you have either in your possession, you can pick these up from dead possessed soldiers!
	|image=BABYSOUL
	}}

	{{info
	|name=Soul Jar
	|text=A jar filled to the brim with tormented souls. Collecting one will lend you eight souls and expand your maximum capacity from 36 to 66 souls!
	|image=SJARA0
	}}

==Score Items==

	{{info
	|name=UAC Equipment
	|text=UAC employees were instructed to take care of their work environment, but they never listened. Despite not being terribly useful, picking these up will add to your score!
	|image=BABYSCO2
	}}

	{{info
	|name=Hellish Treasures
	|align=left
	|text=These arcane treasures litter the halls of Hell. Sometimes, demons bring them over from Hell for shits and giggles. Picking any of these up will also add to your score!
	|image=BABYSCOR
	}}

==The Enemy==

	There are a couple of new threats you may want to know about before busting into those corridors. Take a look:
